Understanding the parts of a cigar is essential. From the foot (the end you light) to the head (the end you smoke), familiarize yourself with terms like wrapper, binder, and filler to get the best smoke experience. Did you know we don’t use any binder in Avanti cigars?
Cutting and Lighting
Many cigars require a sharp cutter to make a clean slice just above the shoulder of the cigar. However, Avanti’s dry-cured cigars don’t require a cigar cutter! Simply remove the cigar from the cellophane sleeve and get ready to light up.
Toast the foot of the cigar evenly (we recommend using a torch-style lighter) before taking your first puff, ensuring a smooth and even burn.
